PlayStation Hosts Winter 2024 State of Play, Over 40 Minutes of Updates

PlayStation kicked off 2024 with a bang, hosting its first State of Play event of the year, showcasing over 40 minutes of updates on upcoming games for PS5. From highly anticipated new titles to exciting announcements for PlayStation VR 2, the event delivered plenty of thrilling reveals.

Sonic X Shadow Generations and Stellar Blade Exclusive to PS5

Among the biggest headlines was the reveal of Sonic X Shadow Generations, a new adventure featuring the iconic rivals Sonic and Shadow. Sega also announced Stellar Blade, an action role-playing game set to arrive exclusively on PS5 on April 26. These announcements further strengthen PlayStation's lineup of exclusive offerings for PS5.

New Games and Updates for PS5 and PSVR 2

The State of Play also showcased a host of new games and updates for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR 2. Among them was Baby Steps, a wonderfully weird walking simulator that will arrive on PlayStation next year.
